BACKGROUND:
Like many midwives, Chantel became interested in midwifery after her first child-birthing experience during her undergraduate studies.  She spent the next 10 years working as a high risk labor and delivery nurse, accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience.  Becoming a certified nurse-midwife has allowed Chantel to provide women with the opportunity to experience the wonders of childbirth with all its beauty, dignity, and mystery.  She is a nurturer and a clinical care provider.  Her clinical skills are enhanced by her warm, calming, and patient spirit.  Chantel not only provides child-birthing services, but also provides management and care for women focusing particularly on common primary care issues, gynecology, and family planning.  She is dedicated to honoring the integrity of women’s health and empowering women take an active role in their healthcare decisions.  Chantel Ashley has a sharp attention to detail and is committed to working in a partnership with women to achieve the healthcare and birth experiences they desire.
