Menopause
Thanks to advanced medical research, we know much more
today about this normal phase of every woman’s life and
can provide exactly the kind of therapies, medications and
counseling to help you cope with the natural changes your
body will go through.
Incontinence
Urinary incontinence affects three out of five women. New
techniques and treatment options allow many women to
correct the problem without surgery. Fortunately, there
is more open discussion about this potentially
embarrassing problem today, and we encourage you to
discuss this with your doctor if you begin to experience
difficulty with bladder control.
Mammography

A mammogram is one of the most important things women over
the age of 35 can do to protect their health. We offer a
special mammography suite right in our offices that
provides a superior image while maintaining the lowest
possible dose of radiation. Our facility has earned
accreditation by the American College of Radiology.
Regular Check-Ups
Although many women see a doctor only when they are sick,
you should visit your physician on a regular basis to take
advantage of the many sophisticated tests for the early
diagnosis of potentially life-threatening cancers that
affect women. Annual gynecological exams continue to be
an important way to preserve and protect your health, for
young women in their late teen years as well as for women
who have undergone hysterectomy or are post-menopausal.
Laser and Laparoscopic Procedures
-- In addition to conventional surgical procedures, the
doctors are experienced in the new, minimally invasive
surgical techniques that use lasers and special scopes and
instruments. These new methods allow patients to recover
faster, experience less postoperative discomfort and less
scaring, and have a shorter hospital stay.
Endometrial ablation
-- For women whose monthly menstrual cycle significantly
interferes with the activities of daily life, the doctors
are trained to perform this outpatient procedure to lessen
or eliminate the bleeding. Endometrial ablation can be an
alternative to hysterectomy for many women.
