Taryn King, MSN, APRN, FNP-C was born and raised in south Arkansas and moved to Texas in 2025. Taryn has been providing care to patients in Women's Health since 2023. Prior to this, Taryn has spent 12+ years working in the ICU, ER, medical-surgical unit, gastroenterology, and preoperative surgery giving her a diverse background in the medical
field.
Taryn attended Southern Arkansas University and graduated in 2014 with her Associates in Nursing and in 2016 with her Bachelor's in Nursing. She then went on to obtain her Master's in Science of Nursing in 2021 from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She maintains licensure and prescribing privileges with the Texas Board of Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
In her free time, Taryn enjoys racing Motocross, watching college sports (Go Razorbacks!),
cooking and reading. She is married to her husband, Cameron, whom they share one son and a beloved dog.
