Dr. Ilene Le is a Houston native and an Obstetrician-Gynecologist who feels especially grateful to care for women in the community where she grew up. Her personal experiences with women’s healthcare sparked her interest in the field and continue to shape the way she cares for her patients today.
Dr. Le attended the University of Houston, where she earned her degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso.
She enjoys the variety of caring for women through different stages of life. Her areas of care include preventive health, contraception, pregnancy, postpartum care, and general gynecologic concerns. She speaks English, Vietnamese, and Spanish and enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds.
After several years away for medical training, Dr. Le was excited to return home to Houston. She was drawn back by the city’s diverse community, incredible food scene, and, most importantly, the opportunity to be close to family.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, hiking, and exploring Houston’s food scene with friends and family
